Dance classes are undertaken by active dancers with a knowledge of the history of b-boying / b-girling, locking, waacking, house, voguing, popping and the hiphop social dances who ensure that class attendees leave with more than just 'a new move in the bag'. The relevance, mechanics and function of a move are always explained so that even the complete novice can take some 'homework' from the session. There is always an opportunity to practice during the latter stages of the session, and self-expression is warmly encouraged!
In the other hip-hop elements including, djing / turntablism, graffiti, beatbox and rapping (including freestyle and song composition) we will tend to run courses or workshops with professionals in their respective industries.
Our 'Conquer All' workshops are one-off events held by icons with a particular specialism in an aspect of one of the elements. For example, we have invited bboy Ynot to teach toprocking (the 'standing up part' of breakdancing) specifically. Get it?
As a company we aim to help those with an interest in hiphop arts, culture and community, fulfil their potential in any way possible. All of our tutors are active performers and competitors, so you will be receiving tuition from those at the forefront of the scene. THE REAL EXPERTS!

Chances are there is a breakdance class or rap session taking place near you already, or one in the process of being set up. Your input is important, so tell us!
